Behike

Terms of service

Last updated: September 2026.

What these cover

These terms apply to the services of Behike LLC: design and development of websites, online stores, apps and systems for businesses. Each project also has its own written proposal. Where the proposal differs from these terms, the proposal governs.

Scope

The scope of each project is defined in writing before work starts. Anything not in the proposal is not included. Any change or addition is agreed and quoted in writing before it is done.

Investment and payments

The investment, payment method and payment schedule are set out in each project's proposal. Work begins once the agreed initial payment is received. A late payment may pause work until it is completed. Payments are processed through third-party services; Behike does not store card numbers.

Timeline

Delivery dates are set in the proposal and depend on the client providing content, access and approvals on time. If those are delayed, or if something outside either party's control occurs, dates move accordingly.

Client responsibilities

The client provides accurate content with the right to use it (copy, photos, logos, trademarks and data) and is responsible for making sure their business and content comply with the laws and regulations that apply to them.

Ownership

Once payment is complete, the project deliverables belong to the client. Behike keeps its general-purpose tools, methods and components and grants the client a permanent license to use them within their project. Behike may show finished work in its portfolio unless confidentiality is agreed in writing.

Third-party services

Hosting, domains, email, payment gateways, platforms such as Shopify and other external tools are governed by their own providers' terms. Behike is not responsible for their outages, price changes or interruptions.

Warranties and liability

Behike delivers what was agreed with professional care. It does not guarantee business results such as sales, customers, search rankings or social reach. Behike's total liability for any claim related to a project does not exceed what the client paid for that project, and Behike is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss.

Cancellation

Either party may end a project in writing. Work completed up to that point is paid per the proposal. The initial payment covers project preparation and kickoff and is non-refundable unless the proposal states otherwise.

Confidentiality

Information the client shares for a project is used only for that project and is not shared with third parties, except as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

Changes and governing law

Behike may update these terms; the version published here applies to new projects, and each ongoing project follows its signed proposal. These terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico. Behike LLC, Puerto Rico.
